Sometimes...

That's how I feel right now. I’ve already failed. I told myself I was going to do it this time, but I didn’t. Are we surprised? No. I knew it would happen like this… I wrote three posts and stopped. For three weeks. And I’m sorry. I promise I’m going to try to be more reliable! 

So, let’s catch up, shall we? Ok, great!

School started August 21^st for the kids, and it’s been good so far. A little hectic and definitely exhausting… but good. I teach three different subjects and have six classes each day with students from grades 9-12, so my days are never boring. I’m usually ready to go home by the end of the day, but I’m also enjoying my classes so far.

This was after my first day of school last year-- AKA my first day of teaching ever.

My best friend got MARRIED August 31^st!!! It was a lot of fun, and she looked beautiful! I'm so happy she has found the man of her dreams! She’s currently still on her honeymoon (I’m super jealous), but here is a collage of a few pictures I managed to snap in between all the craziness and fun.

We've been really busy lately, so the hubs and I are enjoying this weekend just hanging out with family. We went to dinner with his grandparents last night, just got back from the creek with my parents, and are going to the county fair and my cousin’s new house tomorrow. I still have papers to grade and some house cleaning to do before tomorrow night, but I’m determined to make this weekend a fun, relaxing one.
